That’s a great point, Grace. I agree, someone struggling with Depression, the actual clinical disorder, probably won’t find much value in pretending they’re not depressed, right? I was focusing on the general concept that you can influence your thoughts/mindset by “doing”. Right feelings follow right action, and if you take right action even when you don’t feel like it, good feelings will follow. But thank you for bringing up the point about Depression, it’s a complicated issue and pretending you’re not sad is too simplistic and misses the point.
