Thanks for your thoughtful response, Chris. That’s a tough one. I’ve been unemployed for months at a time, and it’s really difficult to apply the “Hell yeah!” principle during those times.

You hit a good point — even if we settle for something that we know isn’t the best for us (and I think there are scenarios and contexts where this can be appropriate), we must realize that the opportunity will probably push us, or at least delay us, from reaching what we really want, and we must commit to staying on the “Hell yeah!” track as much as possible.
