Hi, M.M. Great question. I think goals are very difficult, and the most effective people in the world still have a hard time. I think creating good rituals are easier and even more fun. One author James Clear describes this particularly well. He said he wrote over 100,000 words last year, enough for at least 2 books. His goal wasn’t to write 2 books — indeed, that goal would be exhausting and scary. But he wrote every week when we said he would, and by the end of the year, he wrote a ton! I think rituals are better.
