Great question. Apparently, Medium has recently allowed a change to this rule, which I talked to a Medium staff over email to confirm. Apparently, you are allowed to use a CTA in MPP posts now (though only for a personal email list, not 3rd party lists or sales products). I’d recommend emailing Medium yourself and asking about it! They change the guidelines pretty frequently.
